NASA Welcomes Switzerland to Artemis Accords Agreement

That nation becomes the 37th country to commit to upholding beneficial space use for all.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) welcomed Switzerland as the 37th country to sign the Artemis Accords. This international agreement, drafted by NASA and the State Department in 2020, establishes a commitment to uphold beneficial space use and exploration. NASA officials met with Swiss Federal Councillor Guy Parmelin at NASA Headquarters for the signing.

“Today, we marked a giant leap forward in the partnership between the United States and Switzerland,” said NASA Administrator Bill Nelson. “As we welcome you into the Artemis Accords family, we expand our commitment to explore the unknown openly and peacefully. Discovery strengthens goodwill on Earth, and we are excited to expand our countries’ shared values and principles to the cosmos.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For NASA Administrator Nelson to receive direction from God as he oversees the agency.
  • For NASA officials as they plan out exploration missions and develop programs to keep space neutral.
